Austin and Jeff VanRoy, creators of the upcoming Ranch Bowl documentary stopped by the Pat and JT / Parkville Media studios. They interviewed Pat and Scott Papek, for the movie. Scott and Pat worked at 101.9 The Edge back in the day and had a stories to share about their years at the Ranch Bowl.
In 1978 Matt Markel purchased The Ranch Bowl which would play home to three bars, a bowling alley, a radio station, and a recording studio on top of its performance stages. The venue went on to host the likes of Pearl Jam, Green Day, 311, The Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers and dozens of more acts of equal notoriety mere months before the bands would become world famous.
